Featured Winery: Aslina, South Africa

For wine lovers looking for something special we recommend that you consider exploring Aslina wines. Hailing from the rolling hills of Zululand, Ntsiki Biyela embarked on a life-changing journey to the Cape Winelands. It was here that she discovered her talent and passion for creating captivating wines. Out of her dream comes a brand that pays tribute to her great inspiration, her much-loved grandmother, Aslina.

The Aslina branding strongly echoes Ntsiki’s Zulu culture and heritage and the label features the calabash, a traditional clay drinking vessel. Although used typically for beer, Ntsiki has added her own unique twist by adding grapes to the calabash, transforming it into a container for her distinctive wines.

If you’re planning an upcoming visit to the Cape Winelands, be sure to try Ntsiki’s wines while you’re there. Or, if you just want to savor the flavors and reminisce about your last visit to the Cape, you may find bottles available online
