UCSF Radiology has negotiated special group rates for this event in Livingstone, Zambia, giving you two options at Sun International’s two distinctly themed hotels.  Both hotels are situated practically on the lip of the Victoria Falls in Zambia's Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, with unlimited daylight access to the Falls at the Eastern Cataract.

The UCSF meeting will be held at The Falls Convention Centre located at the Zambezi Sun.

Rooms are limited and the deadline for reservations is 17 December 2006, after which accommodation cannot be guaranteed.  Please be sure to select the hotel of your choice on our Reservations Form when you are ready to start the reservations process.


The Royal Livingstone Hotel - 5 Star
The Royal Livingstone Hotel, Zambia
Spread along the banks of the Zambezi River, this luxury hotel has 173 rooms, each with its own private verandah.

All air-conditioned rooms have satellite television, a minibar, safe, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. A health and beauty salon is on the premises and internet facilities will be available, either in your room or in a UCSF Radiology facility. An elegant lounge and terrace, bar and restaurant are available throughout the day and a wooden deck overlooking the Zambezi River and the spray of the Falls is a favorite with all guests.

Access to the Falls entrance, the Zambezi Sun and the conference centre is by golf cart, shuttle or a pleasant walk from the Royal Livingstone.

The Zambezi Sun Hotel - 3 Star
The Zambezi Sun Hotel, Zambia
All 212 en-suite guestrooms are decorated with a handcrafted fusion of Zambian designs, providing a bright and welcoming atmosphere. All air-conditioned rooms have satellite television, safes, telephones and tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms spill out into the natural African bush or face inwards onto a vast, landscaped pool. The conference centre, activity centre and entrance to the Falls are in close proximity to all bedrooms in this comfortable hotel.

CONDITIONS
1. Rates are quoted in US Dollars, per room, per night, inclusive of English Breakfast (see below for exceptions relating to children sharing family rooms).
2. Rates include a current mandatory Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park entrance fee, per night (including children). This entrance fee allows guests free access to the Victoria Falls on the Sun International Resort. In the event of unforeseen changes to this government imposed tax, we reserve the right to pass the increase/decrease on to the guest/client directly.
3. Rates include 17.5% VAT on breakfast.
4. Rates exclude all levy or tax, which may in future, be levied by any public or government authority or other authorized body.
5. Rates are valid for the month of June 2007 for UCSF Radiology, on the condition that the accommodation reserved is consecutive, and includes the period of official meeting dates, i.e. 22 to 29 June 2007.
6. Childrens Policy: The Royal Livingstone rooms are not designed as family rooms and space in the rooms is limited. We will do our best to accommodate special requests, but cannot guarantee a suitable/practical solution and cannot be held responsible if guests are dissatisfied with the rooms under these circumstances.
• Children under the age of 12 years (the Hotel Management may require proof of age) on the date of arrival, sharing a standard room with one or two adults (limited to 2 children per room if sharing with 2 adults) are accommodated on a single roll-away bed (**a maximum of 12 roll-away beds available). A cot can be requested if under 2 years. Children sharing in this way pay for all meals and extras with a compulsory breakfast charge payable as set out below in "Children's Breakfast". A single adult sharing with 2 children under 12 years will be charged the single room rate and the children will be charged the applicable breakfast rate.
• Children 12 years and older are accommodated in their own room, limited to two children per room at the adult room rate, plus a single roll-away bed if necessary on the above basis for a third child.
• For children sharing with parents, a mandatory Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park Entrance Fee of USD 10.00 per child, per stay, is payable on arrival. This Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park entrance fee allows guests multiple entry into the Eastern Cataract and the Mosi-oa-Tunya Park.

2-6 years:  25% of adult rate
7-11 years:  50% of adult rate
12 and over:  Full adult rate

7. Third Adult sharing/Family Policy: Inter-leading rooms and roll-away beds are limited therefore are subject to availability on request. The Royal Livingstone, Sun International do not recommend for additional / roll-away beds to be placed in a Standard Room, due to limited space.
