Fly from ‘Joburg’ to Zimbabwe’s capital, Harare, then onwards by light aircraft to Mana Pools National Park, one of Zimbabwe’s, and Africa’s, premier wildlife regions. This incredible World Heritage Site is remote, wild, beautiful, and home to a wide variety and abundance of animals, including large herds of elephant and buffalo, lions, hippopotamus, crocodiles, wild dog, leopard and cheetah. The mighty Zambezi River is an integral and wonderful part of this legendary park, offering magnificent views from camps on the riverbanks, aquatic wildlife, channels and islands to explore, and special water-based activities. Elephants and More Elephants
Fly by light aircraft to Hwange, an enormous National Park, Zimbabwe’s biggest, with incredible game-viewing year ‘round, including about 100 species of mammals – one of the largest elephant populations in Africa, rare wild dogs, buffalo, giraffe, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, 400 species of birds, etc., etc. The landscape is spectacular and diverse, with desert dunes, savannah, rocky outcrops and forests.
